Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what information QiblaTap does and does not collect when you use this website, and the choices you have. In short: we do not ask you to sign up, and your location never leaves your device.
Who we are
QiblaTap (https://qiblatap.com) is a free tool that shows the qibla direction, the distance to the Kaaba and local prayer times for cities around the world. There is no account or login, and we do not sell products or services on this site.
Location data
If you choose "Use my location", your browser asks for permission to read your GPS coordinates. These coordinates are used only inside your browser to calculate the qibla bearing and prayer times. They are never transmitted to our servers and are never stored. If you decline, you can still pick your city from the list.
Information we collect
We do not run user accounts and do not ask for your name, email or any personal detail to use the tool. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically processes basic technical request data (such as IP address and browser type) for security and to deliver pages. We do not use this to identify you personally.
Cookies and advertising
This site may display advertising served by Google AdSense and other partners. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this and/or other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings (google.com/settings/ads). Analytics
We use a privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics service (Vercel Web Analytics) to understand overall traffic — for example how many people visit and which pages are popular. It measures visits without cross-site tracking cookies and does not build a personal profile of you.

Our pages may link to other websites. Once you leave QiblaTap, this policy no longer applies; please review the privacy policy of any site you visit.
Children
This site is suitable for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
